Timelapse Video of Removal of Condit Dam on the White Salmon River

The 125-foot high Condit Dam was "removed" on the White Salmon River in Washington State last Wednesday to allow the water to flow again to help fish, including Pacific salmon, use the waterway again. Approximately 750 acre feet of water was drained into the White Salmon River downstream of the dam. The lake drained in just two hours, four hours faster than predicted. Take a look:
