Pterosaur Exhibit at American Museum of Natural History Lets People Fly Like a Pterosaur

A new exhibit, "Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of the Dinosaurs," at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) in New York, lets visitors try and fly like a pterosaur. Some of the large extinct flying reptiles had a wingspan of more than 25 feet. They were the first creatures with a backbone to fly. There was a huge variation in body shape and sizes among pterosaurs. In a virtual flight lab, visitors can use their body to pilot a pterosaur over a prehistoric landscape. The flight lab was created using Microsoft Kinect technology. Here is a video about the exhibit and flight simulator from Mashable. Take a look:
