Ebola is a deadly virus that causes hemorrhagic fever among other symptoms. Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) has a very high fatality rate. It is spread through contact with bodily fluids like blood. The disease has been rare but in the past decade or so there have been two of the largest known outbreaks in human history. The virus is found in Africa, particularly in the DRC.
