NASA Releases Why the World Didn't End Yesterday Video Early

Posted on December 13, 2012

NASA is so confident that the world won't end on December 21, 2012 that they have released their Why the World Didn't End Yesterday 12-22-12 video early. NASA said in a tweet, "Here's a new Dec. 21, 2012 video we planned to release on Dec. 22. Thought you might want to see it now!"

The video explains why the Mayan doomsday fears are based on inaccuracies. NASA also reassures the general public that there is no comet or rogue planet on the way that would destroy Earth on December 21, 2012. NASA also says the Sun is behaving normally. Take a look:

This is not the first time NASA has weighed in on the Mayan doomsday myth. NASA also called Roland Emmerich's disaster film, 2012, the most absurd science fiction movie ever made. NASA also has a faq about why the world won't end on Dec. 21, 2012 here. A new Mayan calendar, discovered earlier this year - also contradicts the 2012 Doomsday Mtyh.
