The CDC wants everyone to know what to do should an actual zombie threat materialize. Earlier this year, the CDC released a Zombie Preparedness Kit. Now the CDC has launched a graphic novel, Preparedness 101: Zombie Pandemic. Although the CDC appears to be a little transfixed on a potential zombie outbreak, the CDC says it just created this comic as a fun way to teach people the importance of emergency preparedness.
The CDC writes, "Readers follow Todd, Julie, and their dog Max as a strange new disease begins spreading, turning ordinary people into zombies. Stick around to the end for a surprising twist that will drive home the importance of being prepared for any emergency. Included in the novel is a Preparedness Checklist so that readers can get their family, workplace, or school ready before disaster strikes. Click on the images below to view the novella."
