AIRarm is an Inflatable Robotic Arm

AIRarm is an inflatable robotic arm from iRobot. This makes the robot more compact and portable. The robotic arm can easily be inflated with an on-board pump and deflated when needed.

In this example the robotic arm is attached to a tank like body. The tankbot uses its inflatable arm to grab a beverage and drop it on the ground. iRobot created the AIRarm for DARPA. Take a look:
