Aztec Burial Site Uncovered in Mexico City

An Aztec burial site has been uncovered in the Templo Mayor ruin in Mexico city. The site contains a large ceremonial platform, which is surrounded by stone carvings of serpent heads. The archaeologists believe Aztec rulers were cremated and buried at the site. Archaeologists have been searching the site for five years in the hopes of finding a royal tomb, but so far no such tomb has been found. Take a look:
