Baby Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo Makes Debut at Taronga Zoo

A rare baby Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo made its debut at the Taronga Zoo is Sydney, Australia. The joey is the first tree kangaroo born at the zoo in over 20 years. Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroos are an endangered species.

The little joey can be seen peaking out of her mother's pouch. She appears to be interested in what her mother is eating. The joey's mother is named Qwikila. ABC Sydney reports that the joey will be named in an upcoming public naming competition. Take a look:
