Award Winning Micro-CT Film Shows Beetle From the Inside

Professor Javier Alba Tercedor, of the University of Granada Department of Zoology won the Best Film of the Year at the SkyScan Micro CT Meeting. The winning film is a Micro-CT anatomical study of a female aquatic beetle.

The film shows from the inside the anatomy of a small aquatic insect called Dryops, of the order of coleopteran. It is an amazing look at the insides of a very tiny insect. Here is the award winning film:
