Broken Water Main Creates 250 Foot High Fountain in Subdivision in Melbourne, Australia

This broken water main in Melbourne, Australia sent a jet of water over 250 feet into the air. The fountain towers over the homes in the subdivision. The city of Melbourne does not keep its water pressure incredibly high.

The Australian explains that what happened is there was a faulty valve regulating the pressure in the water main. The Sydney Morning Herald says a nearby home sustained damage, including flooding and a collapsed garage roof.

That water is so high that it looks like a geyser erupting in the middle of the suburb. Take a look:
