Dr. Michio Kaku Talks Back to the Future Science

CNN decided today was a good day to interview a theoretical physicist about the science in Back to the Future II. Marty travels to 2015 in the movie. Dr. Michio Kaku, Professor of Theoretical Physicist at the City University of New York, says the hoverboard could be possible if room temperature superconductors became a reality. Kaku says fusion is a long ways off.

The 3-D movies in the Back to the Future II are here, but they aren't nearly as cool as they appeared in the film. Kaku calls time travel a "type 2 impossibility." Take a look:
