Festo has unveiled BionicOpter, its impressive blue dragonfly robot. The four winged robot has a wingspan of 70 centimeters (27.5 inches) and a body length of 48 centimeters (19 inches). It weighs just 175 grams and features an amplitude controller. The lightweight wings are made of a carbon-fiber frame covered with a thin foil covering.
