Hanson Robokind Introduces Zeno the Robotic Boy With Frubber Skin

Hanson Robokind has introduced Zeno the robotic boy robot. The robot's head features skin made out of Hanson's material called Frubber. Hanson describes Frubber as a "biomimetic polymer that contracts and folds like skin." Hanson says its robots can accurately simulate the action of over 32 facial muscles. There are also Einstein, Alice and Geo heads available in addition to the Zeno boy head. Hanson says its robots have expressive faces, walking bodies and easy-to-use open source software. They range in price from $8,500 to $14,750.
