Japan Ministry of Defense Shows Off Its Spherical Flying Machine

The Japan Ministry of Defense showed off its Spherical Flying Machine at the Digital Content Expo. The flying sphere flies around the conference room and hovers above the floor. The remote controlled sphere can also roll along the ground. The flying sphere can hover for up to eight minutes continuously. It can attain speeds of about 40 mph. The flying sphere is made from parts that cost a total of U.S. $1,400. Take a look:
