Japanese Researchers Create Tongue Interface Using Kinect

Researchers at Japan's The University of Electro-Communications have created a tongue interface using Kinect. The researchers say this could be used to train the oral muscles for people suffering from oral motor function disorders. They also say it could be used as a hygienic detection method. The researchers made a tongue-controlled video game. When you stick out your tongue you fire a bullet in the game. You can change the trajectory of the bullet by moving your tongue to the left or right. Take a look:
