Kissnger Robots Transfer Kisses Over the Internet

Updated April 14, 2020, originally posted on February 14, 2012

These little pig shaped robots, named Kissenger, were designed to transfer kisses over the Internet. The manufacturers says the robot "provides a physical interface enabling kiss communication for several applications facilitating intimate human tele-presence with the real and virtual worlds."

Lovotics says Kissenger can be used for human to human tele-kissing, human to robot kisses and human to virtual character kissing. The video contains a song about kissing. It shows people using the robots to kiss goodbye after a video chat.

Note: Another more recent version of Kissenger no longer resembles a pig.
