NASA: Re-thinking Alien World 55 Cancri-e

NASA created this video to show how the discovery that a super-Earth named "55 Cancri e" is wetter and weirder than astronomers thought has researchers re-thinking the nature of alien worlds. Astronomers originally thought 55 Cancri e would be a wasteland of parched rock because it is so close to its sun, but new data from NASA's Spitzer spacecraft has found there is liquid oozing or steaming out of the surface.
