Olympus Launches First Digital Microscope Integrated With Touchscreen Monitor

The new Opto-Digital Microscope DSX series from Olympus is the first to integrate a digital microscope with a touchscreen monitor. It debuted in Japan on January 18th, but is not yet available in Europe or the U.S. Once the sample has been placed on the stage, the Opto-Digital Microscope can be controlled using its touchscreen. The microscope also contains a multi-preview function that automatically photographs the sample under different conditions enabling the user to quickly alternate between different views.
