Purported Iceland Worm Monster Caught on Video

A large mystery creature (or robot) with a snake like head was filmed swimming in the icy waters of Lagarfljot Lake, a glacial-fed body of water in Egilsstaoir, by a farmer. The creature - known as the Lagarfljót worm or Iceland Worm Monster - has been spotted in the lake since 1345. It is sometimes said to be 300 feet long. People have also claimed over the years to have seen the creature crawling on the ground and up trees. Cryptomundo writes that the "worm monster" in this video appears to be a fake, possibly a robot pulling fish nets or trash bags. Take a look:
