Researchers Developing Flying Grasping Robots

Posted on January 2, 2013

First came flying robotic drones. Now these increasingly complex flying robots are being given arms and claws so they can grab and place things. The first video shows the V-Bat VTOL UAV placing a 1 lb payload on a ladder. The second clip shows an aerial grasping drone created by researchers at University of Twente, in the Netherlands.
