Scientists Clone Rare Himalayan Goat in Kashmir.

Indian scientists have cloned a rare Himalayan goat in Kashmir. The name of the cloned goat is Noori. The thick fleece of the rare goat is used to make pashmina wool (cashmere). The number of the valuable Kashmir goats is dropping, so there is hope this cloning process could eventually help increase the population of the rare goats, which would help the goat farmers and local community.
