Technology Turns Hand Drawn Images Into Interactive 3D Images

Cybernoids has developed a technology, named Live2D, which can convert 2D images into interactive 3D imags. An anime character by Osamu Tezuka is shown animated with the software in the video. The initial use of the technology is for use in video games. Cybernoids plans to improve the technology so it can also be used to transform 2D drawings into 360 degree animated 3D images.
