Video: 7th All Japan Robot American Football Tournament

This is a video of the 7th All Japan Robot American Football Tournament. The only resemblance here to American football appears to be the shape of the ball. The rules can be found here in Japanese. One way a single point is scored is if the ball and the robot enter the opponent goal area together.

The robots slam into each other constantly during game play, often knocking the football out of bounce. One of the robots manages to carry the football for a few seconds before fumbling it. Take a look:
