Video Captures Rare Baby Hairy-Nosed Wombat Taking First Steps

The hairy-nosed wombat is a critically endangered species of wombat. There are only about 200 of the creatures left on Earth. The hairy-nosed wombat count fell to as low as 38 in the 1980s. Courier-Mail reports that the baby hairy-nosed wombat seen in this video was part of a colony of nine wombats set up in 2009 in southwest Queensland. Take a look:
