Virginia Tech Students Built Solar-Powered Smart Home

CNN reports on a smart house built by Virginia Tech students called LumenHaus. The autonomous house was Virginia Tech's entry in the U.S. Department of Energy's 2009 Solar Decathlon competition.

The solar-powered house will make you coffee and warm up the floor right when you wake up. The autonomouse house has insultation panels that adjust on their own based on the weather conditions outside.
