Well Preserved Hadrosaur Tail Fossil Found in Mexico

Paleontologists in Mexico have discovered an unusually well preserved 72-million-year-old fossil of a hadrosaur tail. Reuters reports that paleontologists removing the fossil found 50 vertebrae of the tail completely intact.

The tail is five meters long and probably made up about half the dinosaur's length according to Francisco Aguilar, INAH's director in the border state of Coahuila.. It was discovered in the small town of General Cepeda. It is the first hadrosaur tail fossil found in Mexico. Take a look:
