White Kiwi Chick Named Manukura Born at New Zealand's National Wildlife Center

A rare white kiwi chick named Manukura was born at New Zealand's National Wildlife Centre. Manukura was born on May 1st. He is likely the first white kiwi born in captivity. Manukura is not an albino. He is the rare offspring off North Island brown kiwi that were transferred from Little Barrier Island (Hauturu), New Zealand to Pukaha in May last year. The Kiwi will stay at the center until October. Take a look:
