February 2011 U.S. Blizzard from Space

Here is a photograph of the February 2011 blizzard in the U.S. from space. NASA says the massive storm has been called one of the largest winter storms since the 1950s. It impacted 30 U.S. states with snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain.

The blizzard buried Chicago deep in snow with winds over 60 mph. NASA has a collection of photographs here.
