Mystery Condition Causes Woman to Age 50 Years in a Few Days

Doctors are baffled by a strange condition which made a 23-year-old woman look about 50 years older in just a few days. Nguyen Thi Phuong was 23 (in 2008) when she was given medication to treat an itchy allergic reaction to seafood. Days later her skin was sagging and wrinkled.

The Telegraph reports that some experts believe Phuong may hs an extremely rare condition called lipodystrophy, which leaves victims with loose folds of skin and wrinkled faces. Other experts believe Phuong experienced severe side effects to steroid medication. Take a look:
