World's Oldest Living Man Celebrates 115th Birthday

Jiroemon Kimura, the world's oldest living man, has celebrated his 115th birthday in Japan. Kimura was born in April, 1897. He was 6 years old for the Wright brothers first airplane flight and 64 when the first man flew into space. Kimura is the 27th verified person to reach age 115. You can see a list of the verified oldest people (living and dead) here. There are two women living in the U.S. - Besse Cooper and Dina Manfredini - that are also 115, but older than Kimura.
