Japanese Researchers Developing Privacy Visor Glasses That Jam Facial Recognition Systems

Japan's National Institute of Informatics is developing privacy visor glasses that jam facial recognition systems. The visor uses 11 near-infrared LEDs. People can't notice the lights coming out of the privacy visor glasses, but the LEDs can block some cameras being used by facial recognition systems. The method will only work on cameras affected by infrared light. Take a look:
