ESA Mars Express Video Shows Spectacular Flyover of Mars

The European Space Agency released this video showing a spectacular flyover of Mars. Data from ESA's Mars Express mission was used to build a near-complete digital map of the Martian surface. The video was produced by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) of Cologne, Germany. It celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Mars Express mission. Nature reports that the Mars Express has now orbited Mars nearly 12,5000 times to build a digital topographical model that is nearly planet-wide. Take a look:
