Harvard Researchers Build Fast Moving Microrobot and Centipede Millirobot

The Harvard Microrobitcs Laboratory built a new Harvard Ambulatory MicroRobot (HAMR) that has four legs and moves rapidly. Harvard says the HAMR uses six piezoelectric actuators and is capable of tethered locomotion up to 37 cm/s using a 70 Hz gait frequency. Blink and you will miss the microbot at regular speed. This video slows it down so you can see the movement. Take a look:
