Japanese Scientists Building Pulsating Space Jellyfish

Professor Yoichiro Kawaguchi at the University of Tokyo is working on constructing a "Space Jellyfish." Kawaguchi wants the jellyfish to be able to pulsate and elicit emotions. Kawaguchi hired a porcelain artist to help create a model for the space jelly. Kawaguchi ultimately wants the jellyfish to be capable of space travel. Take a look:
