Little Humanoid Robot Plays Ice Hockey

Researchers at the Autonomous Agents Laboratory of the University of Manitoba have taught a DARwIn-OP robot to play ice hockey. The robot is named Jennifer. Jennifer's impressive skills include skating on little ice skates and hitting a small ball into a goal with a hockey stick. The robot is the Lab's video submission to the 2012 DARwIn-OP Humanoid Appliance Challenge. Take a look:
