Stolen Koala Named Banjo Returned to Australian Zoo

An elderly koala named Banjo has been returned to the Australian Reptile Zoo in Sydney one day after being stolen. The zoo is very happy to have Banjo back.

It was reportedly the first Koala theft in Australia. The thieves used bolt cutters to break into Banjo's enclosure.

Banjo was left in a plastic bin covered with a crate that was dumped in the zoo's parking lot. He was a little dehydrated and tired but had no signs of trauma. Take a look:
