Tool Using Crows: Clever Crow Uses Lid to go Roof Tubing

Studies have shown that New Caledonian crows are smart enough to bend straight wires into hooks and use them to retrieve food from a jar. Here is more proof that crows are clever birds. A crow can be seen in this video using what looks like a lid as a tool to slide down a snow covered roof. The crow slides down the roof and then carries the lid back up to the top of the roof for another try. Take a look:
