Video: British Man Mummified Like Egyptian Pharaoh for TV Documentary

A British man was mummified by a team of scientists for a documentary on UK's Channel 4, called Mummifying Alan: Egypt's Last Secret. The mummified man, Alan Billis, was a former Taxi driver.

The goal of the modern mummification was to try and understand more about Ancient Egyptian mummification techniques. The scientists have spent the last fifteen years trying to understand the techniques and chemicals used to mummify Egyptian pharaohs. Take a look:
