Atlas Robot Walks Over Rocks, Maintains Balance While Being Hit With 20 Pound Weight

Boston Dynamics has released new footage of its bipedal Atlas robot undergoing tests. Atlas walks over rocks without falling. Atlas also maintains its balance without falling as it is hit with a 20 pound weight. Atlas was designed to traverse rough terrain. Boston Dynamics says Atlas has 28 hydraulically-actuated degrees of freedom. Take a look:
