World Population Just Days Away From Reaching 7 Billion

The World population is just days away from reaching the seven billion mark. By the end of this month there will be over 7 billion on the planet. The population reached 6 billion in 1999 and is projected to hit 8 billion in 2025.

The Population Reference Bureau has some interesting data about population growth here. They also produced this video about global population trends and hitting the 7 billion humans milestone. Take a look:
