Panasonic Creates Little Bicycling Robot
Posted on July 24, 2009
Panasonic used a tiny robot to show off its new endurance batteries. This press event was just a test but the robot will be traveling 50 miles on one pack of Panasonic's batteries in the near future.
Panasonic wants to set a world record for the greatest distance traveled by a remote controlled model car on a single set of AA batteries. They should consider selling the cute little robots as well as the batteries.
The robot navigates by tracking an infrared ray on a chase car. It only goes at a speed of about 1 mile per hour.
