Video: Sinkhole Appears in Soccer Field in Illinois

The sudden appearance of a sinkhole in the middle of a soccer field was captured on film. It swallowed a light pole from the stadium as it opened wider.

The sinkhole is reportedly about 100-feet wide and 30-feet deep. ABC 7 Chicago says it was caused when an underground mine created by a construction materials company collapsed.
